Welcome to the Department of Ecology!
The Department of Ecology was founded in 2005 and is part of the College of Sciences at Granada University. This Department fosters a scientific environment that facilitates research and undergraduate and graduate education in ecology. Fundamental world-class research lines include restoration ecology, evolutionary genetics, microbial, population, community and ecosystem ecology. Our teaching and research promotes an understanding of the Earth as a complex network of interacting species and inorganic systems.
